Navi files your shipping instructions to the carrier from the confirmed booking, then proofs the Bill of Lading the carrier generates - character by character against what you submitted, so Letter of Credit terms match exactly. Reroutes, rolls, holds, and swaps flow through the same record, so nothing goes out against a vessel that already changed.
By invitation only
Navi files your shipping instructions to the carrier against your confirmed booking - the instructions that tell the carrier what to generate on the Bill of Lading. When the carrier issues the BL, Navi proofs it against what you submitted, character by character, so nothing is off - especially the Letter of Credit terms, where a single mismatched character can hold payment. When the booking changes - a reroute, a roll, a hold, a vessel swap - it flows through the same record, so the shipping instructions reflect the vessel the cargo is actually on, and container and seal numbers are captured against the booking rather than copied by hand from the CFS.
The booking team and the SI team log into separate carrier-website accounts and try to keep the same shipment aligned by hand. That is where SIs go out against the wrong vessel.
When SI work is split across two portal logins, alignment is manual - and a silent same-carrier vessel swap slips through before anyone updates the instructions. Navi keeps booking and SI on one record, follows the swap automatically, and files against the vessel the cargo is on.
When a booking rolls or swaps vessels, Navi follows the change. SIs never go out against a vessel that already moved.
When the carrier issues the BL, Navi checks it against your shipping instructions character by character - so Letter of Credit terms match and payment is not held over a typo.
The booking team and the SI team work from the same record, not separate carrier-website accounts.
Navi is rolling out to exporters already using TradeLanes, by invitation. Tell us where to reach you and which agents you want in on.
